Annual General Meeting 21st November  2006

June 2007 National Falls Awareness Week. 

We were delighted to take part in an event held in the Civic Centre, Gateshead to raise awareness of National Falls Week. We had invited along the Falls Team who offered blood pressure checks and advice. We were also on hand to offer a free walking stick ferrule exchange courtesy of Peacocks Mobility.

Looking Forward Festival Week 24th to 28th September 2007 

As part of the week long Gateshead Looking Forward Festival, The Assembly organised a Tea Dance held in the Civic Centre, Gateshead. Members who attended were treat to music and dance provided by Fred and Shirley Keeble and musical entertainment provided by Heather Curry. Thank you to all who attended dispite the rain !! we all had a wonderful night and it would be lovely if we could do this again next year.

Looking Forward Festival Week 24th to 28th September 2007 

Also as part of the week long Gateshead Looking Forward Festival, The Assembly organised an Antiques Road Show which we held in the Masonic Hall, Gateshead. Items were valued by Boldon Auction House who discovered one or two special finds on the day. But it didn't matter if your items was worth 1p or £100 a good day was had by all.
